GENERAL FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS + INFORMATION


How fast can I expect my order?

Charlie & Crew is a Life + Home gift shop with a range of different items that vary in production time. We also offer personalization which can cause variance in production time. All of our orders are handcrafted by our team and packaged as fast as possible. With that being said our general production time prior to shipment is 7-14 business days. You can always reference our Shipping policies here for up to date shipping estimates and more information. Upon confirmation of payment, your order will begin to be filled.


What types of payment do you accept?

We accept Direct checkout(Debit/Credit card) on our website + PayPal. We are sorry but at this time we cannot accept cash, check or money orders.


Am I able to cancel my order?

If a request of cancellation is needed, please contact us via email at hello@charlieandcrew.com within 48hours with your order #. Our orders are processed daily and we begin production steps on various items days before they ship. Because of this we request cancellation requests be placed by 48hours after order confirmation.


Do you charge a sales tax?

All Kentucky residents will be charged a 6% sales tax added in checkout.


Do you accept Custom orders?

We love Custom Orders!  Shoot us an email with your ideas and we will accommodate you best we can. hello@charlieandcrew.com


Do you offer Wholesale?

Yes we do! Let us know if you are interested in selling Charlie & Crew items in your shop or ordering wholesale. We can send you our linesheets and wholesale info on the collections you are interested in. Please be aware that some of our items are one of a kind pieces. If you know of a shop local to you that you would love to see Charlie & Crew products carried in, please let us know!


Your shipping seems high on some items, why is that?

Some of our products are enclosed in glass vessels, are made of heavy wood or wax and are quite heavy on their own. We take every measure to safely package our products to your door to ensure safe arrival and hence shipping may be slightly higher than one might expect as we ship based on weight with USPS.


Can I use more than one coupon code?

At this time, we can only offer the use of one coupon code. We also cannot combine coupons + wholesale discount orders.


BATH & BODY COLLECTION

Our bath + Body collection you will find artisan soaps, bath salts + lip balms to enhance your bath routine. We take pride in using quality ingredients and hand crafted techniques to create our products. 


Is your Bath + Body line Vegan?

Our line is 100% vegan with no animal testing whatsoever. We do not purchase from suppliers who are unable to prove that they are also cruelty-free. We love animals, and it is very important for us to stay cruelty-free.

Do your products contain gluten?

None of our products contain gluten or gluten-derived ingredients.


Are your products safe for those pregnant?

Our products should be safe to use, but we do recommend that you consult your physician to be sure these products align with your pregnancy plan + care as each individual is different.


What is the shelf life of your products?

Our products are natural and do not contain synthetic preservatives. They have a shelf-life of 12 months. All of our products should be kept stored in a cool, dry place and out of direct sunlight.

To maintain their freshness and stability, all of our products contain natural preservatives such as Vitamin E.


None of the statements made here about our Bath + Body line and or products have been evaluated nor endorsed by the Federal Drug Administration. Items from my shop are not intended to cure, diagnose, treat, or prevent any ailment, condition or disease. If you have allergies, some products do contain certain ingredients which are derived from nuts, so please read the ingredients list carefully to be sure. Also, if you are pregnant or nursing, please consult your physician before using any products containing essential oils. Please note that some essential oils, specifically citrus based ones, are photosensitive, so you should avoid bright sun exposure for 24 hours. All products are for external use only. Please read our product ingredients carefully to avoid allergy exposure.


HOME FRAGRANCE COLLECTION

How long do your candles burn?

Due to soy wax being a clean + efficient wax to burn, our candles have excellent burn times. Our Standard glass candles will burn estimated 80-120 hours. Our Mini candles will burn estimated 30-50 hours. 

Please note If you keep your candle burning all day long, it will burn through faster than our estimated time frames.


Do you ship your candles international?

Yes we do. However, if you are outside the Continental US, we request that you send your ship to address prior to purchase so shipping rates and info are up to date with your invoice.


Do you use Phthalate fragrance oils? 

No we do not. Depending on your candle fragrance selected it will be created using 100% Pure Essential oils, Premium Fragrance oil or a blend of 100% Pure Essential oils and Premium Fragrance oil.

Our Premium Fragrance oils are made using 100% vegetable oil base, are phthalate free and cruelty free.


Do you do private label?

Not at this time, no. 


HOME COLLECTION

Do you provide hanging hardware for your shelves?

Yes. On the back of your shelf you will find a sawtooth hanger attached. If you will be placing lightweight items on the shelf, a simple nail in a wall stud will work. If you are placing heavier items on the shelf, or for more stability, we recommend using a wall anchor rated for the weight you will be placing on the shelf.
